Nirzhor — Mohila Unnayan Samity
A women’s development organisation in Pabna — six training courses, three programme states and a bilingual site that explains the work to donors and to trainees.
Nirzhor is a volunteer-based women’s organisation in Chalk Gobinda, Pabna, running skills training, education and social welfare work. The site has two audiences who want opposite things: a woman looking for a course needs the course; a donor or partner needs the organisation’s objectives, committee and track record.
So the site carries both without one burying the other — the courses are their own pages with their own detail, and the institutional material (objectives, vision and mission, programmes) sits alongside rather than in front of it. A language switcher keeps it readable for both audiences.
Key features of this build
Six training courses — computer operating, sewing, block & batik printing, parlour and grooming, small business management, cake making — each with its own page
Programmes split into previous, ongoing and upcoming, so the calendar tells the truth without a rebuild
Objectives and vision & mission pages written for donors and partners
Bilingual switcher, because the trainees and the funders do not read the same language
“Support Women Empowerment” block turning a visitor’s interest into a contribution
Contact page with the office address, phone and enquiry route
How we built it
Separated the two audiences early — trainee and donor — and gave each a path that does not run through the other.
Made every course a page of its own, so a course can be linked, shared and found in search on its own name.
Built programmes as three states rather than three pages, so “upcoming” becomes “previous” with one edit.
Added the language switcher and checked the layout survives the longer Bangla strings.
